Samsung 40 LCD Performance

For a HD TV, the display lives up to my expectations.  Although as expected too, it has a limited viewing angle unlike what you’ll get from other (crazy expensive) models which have OLED or UHD.
When I say limited viewing angle, I mean the TV has a ‘sweet spot’ around the middle where the display looks perfect.
But if you happen to sit at an angle closer to the edge of the TV, you’ll notice a slight fading of the screen.
That’s no big deal though as this is quite normal. I also love its micro dimming facility which adds vibrancy to the display by making the colors pop.
This attribute cancels out my dissatisfaction with the viewing angle.
Now this TV is really slim which of course means that there’s not enough space inside for ear-splitting speakers.
So while the sound from this TV may not be able to deafen the whole neighborhood, I still think the speakers are impressive.
Now I wish it had more USB ports, one USB port seems pretty stingy to me but that’s just my preference.
But it is a smart TV.
I can easily access the web through the open browser and the Miracast works perfectly.
This enables me to wirelessly access my phone to view my photos, music and even my emails.
And unlike the ancient Sony TV I had before, this one allows me to play any video file format (mp4, 3gp, VLC…e.t.c) using USB.
The power consumption is awesome.
My 4.5 Kva Generator carries it alongside my freezer with no problem.
I haven’t tried it on a smaller Gen but with an On-mode power consumption of just 0.06kwh, it shouldn’t have any snags.

Is the Samsung 40 inch Smart TV the Right Fit for You?

Well the screen size is forty inches so it’s pretty ideal for small to medium-sized rooms. I wouldn’t advise you to use it in a viewing center unless the center is not a big one.
It works great with standby generators without making that annoying buzzing sound you hear on other models. And it wouldn’t drain your battery if you use solar power.
As earlier stated, it consumes just 0.06kwh of electricity, exactly what an electric bulb would consume.
Also if you’re the gaming fanatic, its 3 HDMI ports have got you covered so there’s enough space to  connect your gaming consoles.
Going by this, I'll say it's great for singles and suitable for small-sized families.

So that's all you need to know about the Samsung 40 inch TV. Thanks for reading.
