How Good Is The Sound?

The sound is another selling point for the Amani 43 inch TV set. 

Most TVs have crappy sound. You may not notice until you use a soundbar or home theater.

But honestly, the bass from this set is impressive. You will think it has a mini all-in-one home theater inside it.

With clear speech and smooth audio, you shouldn’t have reasons to complain.

I’m not saying it has Dolby Atmos features or DTS: X. It’s not a 5.1 home theater but it does a great job.

Energy Rating For Amani 43 inch TV

It also does a great job of conserving electricity. The maximum power rating is 69 w which is quite similar to that of Polystar 32 inch TV.

But on a normal basis it uses just 27 watts.  This Amani TV works well on low voltage and does not dim out or make beeping sounds.

Because it doesn’t consume much electricity, you can use it on even a 2.5 kva gen or 1.5 kva inverter. 

Although when estimating the power requirements you have to be mindful of the accessories you may add to it like your home-theater or game console.

Is it Smart?

Sadly this TV is not a smart TV. This might not be a big deal to you or it might. It depends on your preferences.

So there is no screencasting or viewing Netflix with this Amani 43 inch set.

Although if you’re willing to shell out an extra 14 to 16 thousand naira, you can get a good quality TV box from Jumia.

The Amani 43 inch TV is very light. It is just about 5kg. I know this can make you wonder whether it is durable. 

The truth is that it may not survive harsh treatment like falling down or getting hit with a football shot.

Unlike old tvs like Sony Bravia which were made of stronger material, the modern affordable TV’s favor style over sturdiness.

To be fair it has a strong screen. You can knock on the screen with your knuckles to test it.

It is also resistant to thunder strikes although you should make sure to use it with a surge protector.

Weird screen lines are a real nuisance when dealing with most low-budget tv sets. But this TV does not develop the horizontal or vertical lines you may come to expect.

If we were to compare it with other brands then it is better than Looka and Bruhm TV.

It beats this tv sets in terms of display and durability.

But it is slightly outclassed by Polystar 32 and 42 inch TVs. 

This is because they have smart features although they are more expensive.

Brands like LG, TCL and Samsung are quite similar to this Amani TV in terms of display and sound.

Although they may be more durable than this TV. They are also much more expensive.
