This Hisense 40 inch TV has a couple of selling points.

Design

Hisense 40 Inch TV is black in color and uses the familiar slim frame with thin bezels. The peg stands are placed about 45 cm apart and are easy to fit.

The material is very light nonflexible plastic that seems durable enough to withstand a fall.

But the screen may not survive a fall. It is sturdy and does not crack or flicker when lightly tapped with knuckles.

So it is stylish a stylish TV set and would complement your room.

Display

This Hisense TV has full HD display. That is 1920 x 1080. And it relies on an LED panel.

The display looks crisp and clear without grayish tints. This clarity is where the display excels at.

And I like the efficient color separation. 

Also because it uses D-LED technology, there is uniform brightness unlike some TV displays with brighter edges and dimmer middles.

Apart from color and clarity and brightness, the screen has a 60 hz refresh rate which is normal for TV sets of this size.

So the visuals don’t flicker or freeze or grey out during fast-motion scenes.

And you can use this TV to play most games like the one I like to mention in all my reviews- Call Of Duty.

The viewing angle is acceptable. But you can notice some fading if you sit at the edges. It’s not much but the screen fades out a bit.

Sound

Sound is a very subjective issue. What is good for one may be too low for another.

But you can use this Hisense 40 Inch TV to watch a movie without the use of a home theater.

The speech is audible but not very distinct. And the bass is not so good. So you’re better off adding a sound system if you want to get that fully immersive movie experience.

I’ll just say that the sound is acceptable but you may want more.

Energy Consumption

This TV consumes low energy. The power rating is  89w. You can use a 2.5 kva generator to power this TV.

It also works well with low voltage and does not make beeping sounds.

Durability

It is a flat-screen TV so it’s not meant for trauma. You shouldn’t let it fall or hit it with a swift projectile (football, kid's shoes… e.t.c).

The good thing about it is that it’s not a smart TV so you don’t have to worry about the OS getting outdated or losing technical support.
