This has the familiar flat frame with thin bezels. It is black and made of durable hard plastic.
The stands are durable two and don’t creak when do a little stress test.
It would have been nice if the screen was edge to edge but it’s got bezels.
But the design is modern and stylish.
Hisense 50 Inch TV Display
With a full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) and a wide 50 inch screen size, this TV has good visuals.
The color separation has a nice realistic blend. And the clarity of the screen is satisfactory- it doesn’t disappoint.
The screen brightness is good too, although a bit dimmer than that of Samsung but the difference is tiny.
This screen has a refresh rate of 60 hz so it will handle most games although there might be a bit of lagging with more demanding games.
Also the display does not break up during fast motion scenes.
With good color saturation and brightness coupled with nice upscaling features, this Hisense TV has a great display.
Sound
The speaker output power is about 7w for each of the two speakers. Apparently the speakers are really sensitive. I don’t know exactly how much decibels they can churn out but the sound is loud.
You can enjoy a movie or TV show by just cranking up the volume mid-way.
And there is little distortion even when you raise it to the highest volume.
Of course you’ll nearly deafen yourself especially depending on the source of sound. If you’re watching a local channel or a digital channel then you don’t need to crank the volume past 30 or 40.
The sound is good and there’s no need for a home theater.
Power Rating
This TV even with the wide 50 inch screen still uses little power. It uses LED panel so low power usage is one of it’s perks.
The power rating is below 100 w.

The USB does not support as many formats as I would like. It doesn’t support AVI for example.
It may show the video but it won’t output sound.

Durability
It goes without saying that this TV would not survive a fall. It’s too wide and too flat.
It can withstand power fluctuations between 120 – 240 hz. Anything more than that and I recommend using it with a stabilizer.
Also use this TV with a surge protector.
This Hisense 50 inch TV should last 3 – 5 years or more without giving you issues.
